The EDP project aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the Egyptian economy’s evolution over the past decades. Covering multiple areas of the Egyptian economy, such as macroeconomics, finance, tourism and the labour market, the project will explore both challenges and opportunities.

Egypt: Economic Development and Policies is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of The Oxford Handbook of the Egyptian Economy, published by Oxford University Press and edited by Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Dr. Marcelo M. Giugale, and Dr. Racha Ramadan.
The Handbook stands as a major milestone for the EDP project, bringing together the work of 80+ authors, with the engagement of 40+ experts and academic reviewers, across 20+ economic themes and sectors.
