
Ahmad Muhammad Ragab
Ahmad Muhammad Ragab is a Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Minia University, Egypt, his research focuses on Tourism Statistics, Tourism Satellite Accounts (TSA), and Measuring Tourism Sustainability. He has consulted on tourism statistics projects for organizations such as UN Tourism, World Bank, LAS, GCC-Stat, and AITRS, working across countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Kyrgyzstan. He has published extensively in scientific journals and was awarded Egypt’s State Encouragement Award in 2021 for his research on tourism's role in economic and social development. Recently, he joined the UN Tourism Expert Group on Measuring Tourism Sustainability (MST).
