Edited by Prof. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Dr. Marcelo Giugale, and Prof. Racha Ramadan, the handbook brings together contributions from more than 69 leading economists, researchers, and policymakers across 43 chapters.
Covering seven decades of Egypt’s economic history, the volume examines key dimensions of development through six thematic areas: macroeconomic fundamentals; sectoral reforms and competitiveness; human development; poverty and inequality; environmental and spatial issues; and governance.
