Professor Ghada Barsoum is a Professor (with tenure) at the Department of Public Policy and Administration at the American University in Cairo (AUC). She has published extensively in top-tier journals on issues pertaining to social policies in the Middle East, women's and youth employment policies, public sector reforms, and higher education policies. She obtained her PhD in Sociology from the University of Toronto and her Master’s Degree from AUC.
