Prof. Gouda Abdel Khaleq He is an Egyptian economic thinker, a Professor of Economics at Cairo University and a former Minister of Social Solidarity. He is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Tagammu’ Party and has been appointed as a member of the National Dialogue board of trustees, which was established by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to facilitate public dialogue on national issues​. Professor Abdel Khaleq holds a Ph.D. in Economics from McMaster University, Canada. He has also served as an advisor to international organizations, including the United Nations and the World Bank.
