Hanan Abouelfarag is an Egyptian economist and Assistant Professor of economics at Damanhour University, Egypt. She earned her MA and PHD degrees in economics from Alexandria University. Her research interests are in international economics, macroeconomic policy, sustainable development, and inclusive growth, with a deep focus on Middle Eastern and African economics.   Hanan has recently completed the ‘Public Policy Excellence Program’ and the IMF’s Institute for Capacity Development “Inclusive Growth” course to further enrich her academic contributions. Publishing in high profile journals, Hanan is experienced in disseminating the results of her research to academic, policy and practitioner audiences.
