Prof. Khalid Al Wazani is currently Professor of Economics & Public Policies in Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG). Before that, he used to be a Freelance Consultant in Strategies, Economic Policies, Economic Modelling, and Administrative Reengineering Agility and Nudging. During 2019-2020, he served as a full time Chairman of Jordan Investment Commission (JIC). Between October 2015 and August 2019, he served as the Strategy and Knowledge Advisor for Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) in Dubai. Additionally, he previously served as the Chief Economist/ Strategist, & Founding Partner of Issnaad Consulting. He also served as General Manager & CEO of Saraya Aqaba Real Estate, Taameer Jordan Holdings (PLC) and Darat Jordan Holdings (PLC). Earlier in his career, Prof. Wazani was Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics at the Hashemeyeh University, where he was later appointed as Deputy Dean for the Faculty of Economics.
