Dr. Nancy Vandycke is a seasoned economist and senior climate advisor at the World Bank Group (WBG) with over 20 years of leadership experience. Currently in the Climate Change Group, she has played a pivotal role in aligning 100% of project financing with Paris Agreement goals. As chair of the MDB Paris Alignment Working Group, and member of the MDB Climate Action Group, Dr. Vandycke has driven collaboration among MDBs on climate action. Previously, she served as Program Manager in the Transport Unit, where she provided intellectual leadership in advancing sustainable transport policy and low-carbon infrastructure. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics and has taught at Georgetown University and the University of London. A published author, Dr. Vandycke has received awards for her leadership and contributions to sustainable mobility.
