Perihane Badr is currently a PhD student in International Development at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, South Korea. She previously held the position of a researcher at the Governance Center, National Institute of Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) in Egypt. She is also a part-time researcher, assistant and consultant for several projects with local and international organizations including the UNDP, FERDI, and UNICEF. Perihane received her master’s degree in Development Economics from University Paris 1 Panthéon- Sorbonne in 2020, and her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. Her research interests include gender and development studies, institutions and governance for sustainable development.
