
Reham ElDesoki
Ms. Reham ElDesoki, for nearly 30 years, pursued a career in policy work and economic research holding senior positions at local and international financial institutions, in addition to the US Embassy in Cairo, publishing on economic and investment issues and advising international investors on Egypt and the MENA region.
She worked with the government in senior economic positions, think tanks, donor agencies and the media, locally and internationally. In 2018, Ms ElDesoki founded Egypt’s first Sovereign Fund and was its first Chief Strategy Officer until the end of year 2022. Since 2023, Ms ElDesoki has been consulting with local and foreign private firms, government and international organizations.
Ms ElDesoki has a BSc. in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences (FEPS), Cairo University, an MA. in International Economics from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and a Public Policy Analysis Certificate from London School of Economics (LSE).
